Jonathan Herman, Journalism
As a journalism undergraduate, Jonathan Herman dreamed of writing for the Wall Street Journal and penned a finance column for the Good 5¢ Cigar. He never imagined he would become the chief operating officer for a leading home health care provider, but he relies on the skills he developed at URI. “No matter your vocation,” he advises current students, “be sure to surround yourself with great, smart people who will help unleash and unlock all of your talents.” Now Jonathan gives back to URI with the Arthur and Helen Herman Scholarship Fund, named in honor of his parents. The Harrington School of Communication and Media is a place where you can explore all your talents and interests.
