Biography

Wendy Smith has an MFA in creative writing from Bowling Green State University and a BA in creative writing from Roger Williams University. Among the many east coast universities where she has taught writing classes are: Temple University, Roger Williams University, University of Massachusetts, Bristol Community College, and The University of Rhode Island.

Wendy also is a fierce and successful competitor in equestrian show jumping and has been the New England modified adult champion 2015,2016 and also Rhode Island champion these past few years. Wendy’s horse Neiko was imported from Holland for her and the two have become a competitive pair.
