Biography

Lisa Marie Czop joined the Nationals in February 2013 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Ballpark Operations. In her role, she oversees guest experience, parking, venue services, logistics, grounds, security, facilities, and event operations, focusing on both Nationals games and non-game day events as well as Nationals Park operations as a whole.

Prior to joining the Nationals, Lisa Marie served as the Director of Events for Brotman-Winter-Fried Communications, a full-service events and communications firm.  In this role, Lisa Marie led as the project manager on events ranging from 20-10,000 attendees, coordinating all logistics and budgets related to event execution. Notable national clients included Foot Locker, McDonald’s, Department of Transportation, Nando’s Peri-Peri, and the American Heart Association. Lisa Marie started her career with the USO of Metropolitan Washington, working closely to develop programming and coordinate celebrity visits to military members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Lisa Marie earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Rhode Island, her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification through the Event Industry Council, and her Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) certification through the International Live Events Association. Lisa Marie serves on the Stadiums Committee of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), President of the PTA at her children’s school, and an enthusiastic alumna of Chi Omega Fraternity. Lisa Marie currently resides in Alexandria, Va., with her husband and two sons.
