Biography

Joanne is a proud University of Rhode Island alum. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at URI, she attained a Master of Education at Providence College. Joanne taught in the East Greenwich, RI school system for thirty years, serving in a variety of capacities. In addition to teaching at URI, Joanne continues to tutor students in mathematics and other disciplines. Joanne enjoys traveling, reading, theater, boating, and cheering on the URI men’s basketball team as a season ticket holder.
