Biography

Frank Romanelli teaches live, blended, and online and coordinates the concurrent enrollment program for writing and rhetoric. He also teaches incoming Papuan students through URI’s international partnership with the government of Indonesia. He is a member of The National Association of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), having served on the communication committee; and an executive board member of the New England Association of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NEACEP). Frank presents nationally and online about concurrent and dual enrollment and digital and media literacy. He also facilitates faculty development workshops in project-based learning, technology and learning, and digital literacy. 

Frank has served as the director and Digital Pedagogy Specialist for the Writing and Rhetoric Production Lab and as coordinator of UnClassroom, a project-based learning initiative for the Harrington School of Communication and Media. He is a member of the leadership team of the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy and the Assistant Director for Special Programs at Media Education Lab. Frank also serves on the executive board of the standing group for dual enrollment writing in the CCCC (Conference on College Composition and Communication).

Frank has done extensive teaching, writing and coordinating in project-based learning in higher education. He also enjoys his work as a performing singer/songwriter.
