Daniel O’Mahony


Daniel is the Director of Library Planning and Assessment for the Brown University Library. He also coordinates the Library’s federal depository collections and services.

Daniel began teaching the URI-GSLIS course on “Government Publications” in 2003 (one of the first online/hybrid classes that the school offered). An advocate for public access to government information for more than 30 years, he served three different times on the Depository Library Council to the U.S. Government Publications Office, and twice testified before Congress.
