Chelsea Riordan

Biography

Chelsea Riordan is an adjunct professor of Writing & Rhetoric. As a freelance writer and educator, she brings both practical and scholarly experience to the classroom. She holds an M.A. in Media, Culture, & Communication from NYU Steinhardt and a B.A. in English from Rhode Island College. As a media scholar, Chelsea takes great interest in commercial and pop-art, digital cultures, fan cultures, and cinema studies. 

Along with academic and creative writing, Chelsea has professional experience with pedagogical writing, political writing, blogging, and producing SEO content. When she’s not staring into her own eyes in the bathroom mirror while chanting “today, you’re going to act normal,” Chelsea enjoys drawing, baking, cooking, home-brewing, and gaming.
