Biography
Agnes Doody commands strong interpersonal communication competences. She has taught on both the graduate and undergraduate level for more than four decades in the discipline of Communication Studies. Within that field she has specialized in public speaking; interpersonal, intercultural, inter-generational communication and gender communication; negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation.
Now Agnes Doody, professor emerita, is president of Arthur Associates, a consulting firm specializing in communication and management. As a consultant she has coached executives, mediated conflicts among and between senior management, has developed in-house training programs focusing on public speaking, intercultural and intergenerational communication, business writing, workplace conflict resolution and gender communication. She has also completed communication audits for senior management in several organizations.

Professional Development: Agnes received her B.A. degree from Emerson College, her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the Pennsylvania State University; a Certificate from the year-long Program on Negotiation, Harvard Law School; and a certificate in Elder Mediation training.
