The Writing Production Lab is a space designed specifically for the URI writing community. We are a resource for students and faculty members to collaborate and create face-to-face and digital multi-modal writing.
Monday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday: 10:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Where are we?
We are located in Roosevelt Hall, room 320.
Roosevelt Hall is home to the Center for Career and Experiential Education, Gender and Women’s Studies, Writing and Rhetoric, and more.

Do I have to be a writing major to use the lab?
No, the lab is available to those who are enrolled in writing classes, as well as writing & rhetoric majors/minors.
Is printing free in the lab?
Yes, as long as you meet the qualifications listed above.
