Luke Santell’s name is known in the hip-hop world for powerful portrait and concert shots of some of the biggest names in the business.

Nate Vaccaro, a double major in writing & rhetoric and English and an Italian minor, learned firsthand the ways of working in the press.

Jake Rousseau, a double major in journalism and communication studies, fueled his passion for journalism through his internship with Rhode Island Sea Grant.

For Daniel Hollingworth, the newsroom is his home. The senior journalism major and communication studies minor currently works with ABC6/WLNE-TV as the nightside assignment editor after starting out as a news intern.

For Chris Parisella, a triple major in writing & rhetoric, political science and French, every step he has taken during his time at URI has been a stepping stone for where he wants to be in the future.

Some of the best internships are located right here at URI. Rhode Island Sea Grant, a part of URI’s Graduate School of Oceanography, supports research, outreach and education programs in Rhode Island’s coastal communities, and served as the perfect spring internship experience for Harrington School senior Ryan Davis.
