The end of the school year can be a frightening time for seniors who are not sure what they want to do after graduation or have not yet landed the job they desire. This was not the case for Jessica Pace, ’18, a journalism and communication studies double major.

After filling PBS’ late-night time slot on an interim basis for five months, Christiane Amanpour, University of Rhode Island graduate, has been named the permanent successor to Charlie Rose.

URI’s Harrington School teaches its students to think and dream big. Alexandria Haughey, a 2013 graduate of the Harrington School with a B.A. in Public Relations, did just that. Haughey joined Condé Nast in October of 2013 a short while after graduation. After completing internships for Alice + Olivia, Duffy & Shanley, and StyleWeek, she started off at Condé Nast as an Advertising Assistant and worked her way up to her current position, Account Executive.

In her nine years at ESPN, Jennifer Cingari Christie ’08, communications manager for ESPN Films and Original Content, has worked on numerous projects including the promotion of the Oscar-winning “O.J.: Made in America” documentary, The ESPYs, the New York Marathon, the World Series of Poker, and “30 for 30” documentaries and podcasts. She is one of PR News’ 2016 Rising PR Stars 30 and Under.
