Communication Studies B.A.
Internships
In addition to teaching and research, we also provide students with hands-on opportunities to engage in creative and innovative projects, including new and emerging trends in mediated communication.

The knowledge, abilities, and experiences you gain as you progress in our curriculum will enhance your prospects as you apply for internships and our internship advisors will help place you in a range of companies, government and nonprofit organizations to help give you a practical skill set.
Departmental and full-time internships (up to 15 credits) are handled through the Center for Career and Experiential Education (CCEE). Selected students may intern in Communication Studies (COM 477 up to 6 credits). All other internships are handled through the CCEE.
