COM246: New Media and Society. Introduction to basic practices and theories necessary for understanding and contributing to digital culture, includes blogging, social networking, and virtual reality.
COM351: Organizational Communication Skills. Examination of business and organizational communication. Emphasis on channels of communication, communication barriers, leadership, and the development of communication skills for business and professions.
COM402: Leadership and Motivation. Examination of theory and research in the areas of leadership and motivation in organizational settings. Emphasis on essential leadership skills within individuals and in creating effective motivational programs within organizations.
COM422: Communication and Conflict Intervention. Conflict intervention in interpersonal, group, and organizational settings. Emphasis on applying theories through simulations, role plays, case studies, and discussions.
COM460: Environmental Communication: Local & Global. Communicate local and global environmental issues. Target key audiences and move them towards sustainable change and active involvement, improved environmental conditions and quality of life.
