Our graduates are well-prepared for careers, life and citizenship in a rapidly-changing global economy. We embed communication strategy into everything we do, following principles of our distinguished URI alum, Dick Harrington, master of strategy and former CEO of Thomson/Reuters, one of the world’s largest global media and information services firms.
We offer powerhouse programs in film/media, public relations, writing and rhetoric, journalism, communication studies, and library and information studies. With over 1,300 undergraduate, 200 graduate students, 60 full-time and 60 part-time faculty, we’re a force to be reckoned with in New England.
