Students enrolled in Strategic Media Communication (PRS442) have been immersed in a semester-long project that is designed to increase awareness among the campus community and in the local community of the URI Theatre Department and its invaluable contributions. In particular, students have focused on promoting “Chicago” by utilizing traditional and social media platforms.
Students have integrated the recommendations and philosophy of David Meerman Scott, Marketing/PR guru, in their efforts to promote “Chicago” and to formulate short-term and long-term strategies for consideration by the Theatre Dept.
