Three of our Harrington School Film/Media students will be screening their short film, “The Outside of Life,” on Saturday night at the Rhode Island International Film Festival!

outside of life

When: 8:30pm, Saturday August 9th

Where: The Bell Street Chapel, Providence, RI

Christian Renzi, Kyle Sidlik and Kyle Smith created their short film during an Advanced Narrative class at URI during the 2014 spring semester. Their hard work and dedication paid off as their film was one of just 210 films chosen to take part in this year’s festival! This Academy Award-qualifying event attracted 5,400 submissions and it is amazing to see our Harrington students shine in this spotlight.

Renzi and Sidlik are CCRI alums who collaborated with Smith on the film. Renzi and Smith wrote and directed the film, and Sidlik was the film’s cinematographer and director of photographer. The film is about an anxious hypochondriac who goes through a bad breakup and relives his memories in hopes of winning back the girl he loves.
